Macedonian representer on ESC 2004 in Turkey, Tose Proeski (26) died! This morning at 6.35 a.m. he had a car accident in Croatia. His friend was driving and Tose was sleeping when the accident happened. At least, he wasn't aware of death. His body has been departed to Macedonia and funreal is tomorrow at 1 p.m. in his native town.
He was one of my favourite singers and it was such a shame when I found out he died. I even cried when I heard the news and I even have one of his albums. I adored his voice and a big shame I cannot hear any of that anymore. RIP to him.
The Hardest Thing FYR Macedonia: Tose Proeski's new song released
Yesterday on the 12th Croatian Radio Festival (HRF), was the world premiere of a Tose Proeski's new song The Hardest Thing. The new video of late FYR Macedonian and Balkan pop icon Tose Proeski will air for the first time on June 1st on MTV Adria. The videoclip for "The Hardest Thing" was created by three Slovenians - Jani Cherne, Matej Kavcnik and Igor Nardin - who made the selection out of seven-hour recorded material. Croatian Radio Festival will also have, from the next year, a special award category named «Toe Proseki». Toe Proeski won last years Grand Prix 2007 of the Festival (HRF) with his song «Vei me za sebe».
The song is part of Tose's English-language album, which was to launch Tose's international career. The material for the CD shot in Jamaica, Sweden and London, will be released in the autumn.
In 2004, Proeski represented FYR Macedonia at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul, Turkey.
He died in an automobile accident in Croatia on October 16, 2007.
