"Today, July 3rd, it is the national holiday of the republic of the Belarus!
I am not going to give you a lesson of history, but just know that the republic of the Belarus has been independent since 1991. Minsk was declared as capital. Before, Belarus was included in the Grand duchy of Lithuania and Russian Empire. Some people call this country Belarus, Byelorussia or White Russia. The official name that the government wishes is "Republic of the Belarus".

Belarus comes in the Eurovision since 2004 and gave us Dmitriy Koldun in 2007 and Ruslan Alehno in 2008. The best result of the Belarus during the big final of the Eurovision is, this day, the 6th place, thanks to Dmitriy Koldun and " Work your magic " (it was superb it deserved the first place!)
On the contrary, in the Junior Eurovision, the Belarus comes since 2003 and carried off junior final in 2005 and 2007.

Today in the evening in Minsk a very big concert with "local" stars will take place, among whom Dmitriy Koldun and Ruslan Alehno!

Let us wish a Good Holiday therefore to all our friends of Belarus! Having made nice fires of device, will you have a good time? And especially treat you this evening with Dmitriy and Ruslan!"

 But that's not the national holiday of Belarus, that is Subbotnij Vecher, it comes every Saturday!


It is worse! When there are interesting stars on TV I'm cooking Rassolnik! That is so typical for me!

I'm happier he did the english verison at esc because no-one would have understood it in russian, but I don't know if maybe it would've done better or not???hmm

Hey Guys! In Hungary in the news was that in the national holiday concert was a big explosion becouse in this conert took part the Belarussian president..... I don't now what happened exactly but it's still very bizarr
