I'll start with great Croatian victory on Wembley against England for Euro 2008!!! And now I found out that Croatia is going to be in the same group as England again for qualifications for World Championships. Other countries in our group are Ukraine, Belarus, Andora and Kazachstan.
This day was very successful for Croatian athletes. Ana Jelusic, a Croatian alpine skier won 3rd place in slalom in Panorama, Canada. This is her 2nd best result in career. Also, Ivica Kostelic won 28th place in Super-G in Canadian Lake Louise and that is his 2nd best result in that discipline. And, in the end, Blanka Vlasic's jump over 207 cm (Athletics - high jump) is awarded as the best women athletics result in 2007. She was also nominated for the best female athlete in 2007., but that award got Meseret Defar.
