UK NEWS
The UK is to undergo a new selection process that involves an X Factor like theme, this means that literally anyone from the streets of the UK could represent us.
Andrew Lloyd Webber will play a big part in the selection and preside as judge in place of Sir Terry Wogan with Graham Norton to host. Graham Norton is still the favourite to commentate for the UK in 2009.

ESC 2009
The ESC will see the return of jury votes in the ESC final and not the semi-finals which will go unchanged. The basic idea is that the winner will be decided by a mix of jury and public vote but how much each vote is worth is undecided - this is why the Big 4 remain the Big 4 as they now have a better chance.
Regardless of changes Austria will not return and Poland is still undecided on this issue.

Ukraine News
The Ukranian national broadcaster is having major financial problems and if they cannot find a sponsor by the end of the year the Ukraine will not take part in 2009

Yeah Ukraine have had some nice songs, and it'd be sad for them not to enter especially as they did so well last year but then like julia said, maybe the eastern europeans won't do as well.
