Dima must to be very clever and i agree with you that he should take part in Eurovision, because he is very-very good performer! But here is a problem: I think Dima Bilan won cause he had still 2 stars that help him, and Edvin's and Lushenko's fans vote for him. But Dima hasn't got any star-partner. He is very talented, I know, but is it enough???

I'd love to see Dima in Eurovision again next year! biggrin he deserves a really good song if he goes though

Yes, Dima Bilan has famous friends on the stage but it isn't the reason to win.He has a great song and with them or without he would win.
Uh, if Dima come to ESC next year I'm gona scream of happiness:):):):):)I think he has a chances to win a good place, but we will see.Most important thing right know, is he to come.
If I see him next year I don't know what will happend to me:D:D:D:D:D

He needs a really good song because when serbia won, they had no-one famous with her. And it doesn't happen every year that some countries have other famous people with them.

Well it all depends on what other songs are there but I think with a good song he could win or do better!! His performance was great but he performed 2nd so if he performed near the end he would do better because people always forget the first singers.

I don't think that thet is the reason because Sertab Erner in 2003 was 4 but people don't forget her because she won.I think that last year was only politic and nothing else.I say this because after ESC 2007 on every single mobile phone in my school was WYM and everyone had remember his powerful performance.I don't think that the best song always win on Eurovision.I think that the winer is already ordered before ESC.This is my opinion.

Yes that is true.This year they have Armenian,Greece,Ukraine song.Those songs are hits here.

and yes we are listenbing them in school. but if dima participates really he can win. we can vote too many time. and you know little countries dont win usually. but dima can win.

I think Koldun can win with the right COUNTRY. after ESC 2007 many people said Koldun would have won if he was representing Russia

To win, an artist needs:

fame
right country

Yes.. it is right. But i just wondered, when Ruslan Alehno fall out to the competition. I like his song and his clip. I agree with Borce, last year in the ESC was a lot of politic. I think yearly change the things wherewith can somebody win.

Imagine there'd be even more Dima Bilan comparisons if he did enter Eurovision next year xD
At least if he was represting Russia next year he'd definitely be in the final next year (not that he'd have much trouble getting in anyway) and he would have a lot of attention as the host country's act, which could only be good!

But winning the russian final might be hard. This year there were 27 songs and so many famous people like sergey lazarev, sabrina (fabrika zvezd 6), prime minister (esc 02 i think). So it's hard to win that, but Bilan won it because he was the most famous!

wow 27 entries is a lot! we only had about 6 in Ireland xD
Hopefully Dima would stand a good chance of getting through there, though Russia take Eurovision really seriously though don't they?
