Yes Kolduna, you're right, it's a summer soup. You don't have to warm it up or anything, just take it out of the fridge and eat it :D

in maltese i think we call them ravanell, the word is a little bit similar.

I'm from Russia and if you want i can share some Russian recipes with you.
Do you know Russian dishes like salad "Mimoza", "Tourist's breakfast" and salad with chicken and baked breads?

"Tourist's breakfast" is a very simple salad.
You need 2 tomatoes, cheese, mayonnaise sauce and clove garlic.
First of all you need to cut into dice tomatoes. Then grating cheese. Stir it well. Add mayonnaise sauce. And if you like add cutted clove garlic. And add salt and pepper to taste.
It's very simple and tasty!

Don't you know what mayonaise is it? I think that it's well-known everywhere ))
In Russia it sounds like maionez ))
Or you ask me how the name of salad sounds in Russia?

Does anyone of you remember the recipe for Borscht' ?

Well, I got kinda obsessed with it and I cook it the whole week now (no kiddin!), today I gad the idea to send you a pic that you can see how it looks like when someone really cooks it (I don't trust google images)

lol! I was carrying "Dima and friends" for a few months through the school xD As I made then a CD cover for the arts project I took a pic of Dima too. The best thing was as my friend Marvin saw that, he said: "ZOMG! Julia! That is scary!!" And I asked: "What is scary?" and he: "That guy is everywhere...your folder, your art project...everywhere @.@"
